Committees

To focus on the vast sectors in the digital payments space, eight committees have been formed under PCI.

The eight committees formed under PCI are:

• Prepaid Payment Issuers
• Merchant Aggregators and Acquirers
• Payments Bank
• International Remittance
• Bharat Bill Payments Operating Units (BBPOU)
• Payments Network
• United Payment Interface
• Technology Enablers

• Prepaid Payment Issuers
  

  Prepaid Payment Issuers Committee works toward the industry issues, representations and the growth of Prepaid Payment Ecosystem in India.
  Non-Banking Organizations licensed by RBI to issue semi closed Prepaid Cards, Prepaid Technology Providers, Prepaid Payment Facilitators, Co-branded Prepaid Card Issuers can be a part of this committee. This committee is further divided into three subcommittees namely: Cards, Wallets & Corporate.

  Co-Chairman – Co-Chairman - Bipin Preet Singh, Founder and CEO, Mobikwik

• Merchant Aggregators and Acquirers
  

  Merchant Aggregators and Acquirers Committee work towards the industry issues, representation and the growth of the payment processing ecosystem in India.
  Merchant aggregators, Merchant acquirers, Payment Processors, Card Networks, Payment Facilitators etc. can be a part of this committee. This committee is further divided into three subcommittees namely: Online Payment Gateway (PG), Physical & Mobile POS and Soft POS

  Co-Chairman - Manish Patel, Founder and CEO, Mswipe

• Payments Bank
  

  Payments and Small Finance Bank Committee works toward the industry issues, representations and the growth of payments bank ecosystem in India.
  All entities engaged in Payments Banks and Small Finance Banks can be part of this committee.

  Chairman - Anubrata Biswas, MD and CEO , Airtel Payments Bank
  Co-Chairman - Surinder Chawla, MD and CEO, Paytm

• International Remittance
  

  International Remittance Committee works toward the industry issues, representations and the growth of international remittance ecosystem in India.
  Remittance facilitators like International Money Transfer Operators can be part of this committee.

  Chairman - Nath Parameswaran, Director, PayPal
  Co-Chairman - Chetan Mehra, Vice Chairman, Weizmann Forex

• Bharat Bill Payments Operating Units (BBPOU)
  

  BBPS Committee works toward the industry issues, representations and the growth of Bill Payments Ecosystem in India.
  All the entities engaged in bill payments can be a part of this committee

  Chairman - Vishwas Patel, Director, Infibeam Avenues
  Co-Chairman - Pranay Jhaveri, Managing Director - India & South Asia, Euronet.

• Payments Network
  

  Payments Network Committee works toward the industry issues, representations and the growth of Payments Network Ecosystem in India.
  Companies providing platform for reliable transaction processing & licensing its payment brands to Issuers and Acquirers can be a part of this committee

  United Payment Interface Committee works toward the industry issues, representations and the growth of United Payment Interface ecosystem in India All entities live on United Payment Interface platform can be part of this committee
